ITINERARY
Day 01 - Arrival in Chengdu or Kathmandu / Hotel x 2 nights
Day 02 - 10 am : Kathmandu sightseeing - Pashupati Temple, Boudha and Swaymbhu Stupa/ Chengdu sightseeing
Day 03 - Fly Katyhmandu - Lhasa, Lhasa 4 Nights
           - or fly Chengdu- Lhasa

LHASA, transfer to the airport for the flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa on China Southwest Airlines. Arrival at Gonggar airport . After clearing immigration and customs it will be a two hour drive to cover the 93 km. to Lhasa which is situated at a altitude of 3650 meters (13,000ft).

Day 04 - Sightseeing : Jokhang Temple and Drepung Monastery
Day 05 - Sightseeing : Potala Palace and Sera Monastery
Day 06 - Free day
SIGHTSEEING, during the days in Lhasa we you can visit the Potala palace, Drepung and Sera monasteries, the Norbulinka and of course the famous Jokhang temple including the surrounding Barkhor.
Day 07 - Drive to Gyantse / Wutse Hotel or similar Hotel
LHASA - GYANTSE, you begin your overland adventure with a full day drive to Gyantse. Along the way you cross the Kamba la (4794m) and the Karo la pass (5010m), both grant spectacular views. After the Kamba la you come to Yamdrok tso, also known as the Turquoise lake. You'll want to have your camera ready. Altitude 3900 m.
Day 08 - Visit Pelkor Choede / Kumbum Stupa and drive to Shigatse / Hotel Mansarover or similar Hotel
Day 09 - Visti Tashi Lumpo Monastery - drive to Sakya / Sakya Hotel
Altitude 4350 m / 4000 m
Day 10 - Drive to Rombuk / Overnight in Guest House , Dormitory rooms / Pit toilets   Altitude 4500 -5500 m
Day 11 - Trek to EBC (2-3 hours) and later drive to Lao Tingri /Overnight in Guest House, Dormitory rooms / Pit toilets
get up early and start the 2-3 hour leisurely walk (one way) to the base-camp (5200m) itself. You should return early afternoon to head to Lao Tingri. Lao Tingri is a small Tibetan town that offers the best view even from a toilet that you’re unable to experience from anywhere in the world. Altitude 4200 m
Day 12 - Drive to Zhangmu and cross Kodari border and overight in Dhulikhel / High view resort or similar Hotel
cross the Lalung la pass, 5050m
Day 13 - Drive to Kathmandu, Hotel
Day 14 - Tour ends, transfer to airport

clients arriving from Chengdu must have their own Chinese tourist visa
